Forever now supports preservation of PDF files. This change allows photo books created with Artisan to be preserved as a single file, eliminating any chance that the pages will be come separated or lost. Now I can preserve my photos with all of the stories that makes them meaningful. Over the past few years, I have created 15 photo books, and I have uploaded all of them to Forever’s guaranteed storage.
There is only one trick that is required. Artisan saves the cover and pages of a photo book as separate files and you must merge these files to create a single photo book file. Combining these files requires either the $449 full version of Adobe Acrobat or a third party software package such as PDFSoda, which includes a free create module that will merge PDF files. Photo book files are generally too large for web sites that merge files online.
Other documents, spreadsheets, emails, and web sites can also frequently be stored as PDF files, making the ability to preserve these files on Forever even more useful.
