As announced on July 5, Mr. Caleb Hayhoe, Chairperson of Flowerdale Group Ltd., Hong Kong purchased Creative Memories Japan, Creative Memories and Ahni and Zoe brand names, and related production equipment. He has named Yoko Amano General Manager of Creative Memories Japan and hopes to sell these quality Creative Memories products again in USA, Australia and Germany when business growth in Japan is stable. Whether or not he will restore the emphasis photo-safety remains to be seen, but we can certainly hope so since high-quality, photo-safety products are a large part of the Creative Memories brand.

thank you so much for the info….you are right about it not being publicized!
Mark, I’m wondering if you can connect me to the announcement you reference from July 5, plz? Trying to connect the dots… thx.
The information I published was based on an announcement that was sent to consultants in Japan.
Some info on him…
Founder and Chairman of the Flowerdale Group Ltd., a Hong Kong-based company he established in 2009 to manage the family’s assets and make new entrepreneurial investments. Previously, Caleb was the Founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of RT Sourcing Asia Ltd. (www.rtsourcing.com) from 1993 to 2008. He sold the business to private equity investors in 2005, and again on their behalf to the world’s largest supply chain company in 2008. Prior to that, he was Regional Marketing Manager of Dow Jones Markets, in Hong Kong from 1989 to 1992, and an Executive at the County NatWest, Merchant Bank in London from 1986 to 1989.
Caleb was the Founder of RT Cares, which conducted numerous charitable projects in Asia and the USA on behalf of the company’s owners and more than 400 RT staff members.
Caleb holds a BA Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master’s degree in Politics and Economics from the University of London (LSE and SOAS).
FYI, RT Sourcing in Addison, TX did CM’s promotional products and organizers way back when.
R T Sourcing was sold to Li & Fung. Li & Fung are opening stores in SoCal for one of their other companies. There’s always the possibility that we’ll see CM products here.
Something tells me that what was once “Made in America” will be now made in China. As far as we’ve been told, purchasing CM/AZ in the USA has not been finalized thus not been publicized yet pending further details.
I am so disappointed in the news about Ahni and Zoe. I was hoping it would come around. I de-activated as a consultant and am joining Rhonda at Heritage Makers. I want USA products not cheap plastic-y products that look like everyone else’s. Thanks for the information. I will pass it along.
