The Five W’s

I really hope I can do a better job labeling my photos than this. Remember the five W’s.

  1. What?
  2. Who?
  3. Why?
  4. When?
  5. Where?

The details are so important because we think we’ll remember, but we don’t!

My favorite “test” is to see if I can sit next to someone while they look at one of my albums and not have to say anything. If all the questions they might ask me are already in the journaling, I’ve done my job. Because someday I won’t be there to answer the questions.

and another one – how did it make us all feel… which is kinda the why of the event or activity. I forget this on my digital pages sometimes, it is just so easy to move my photos in and arrange them, and I am doing them so close to the moment of the event, so I remember it all and think it is so obvious. But it won’t be obvious to be soon!
