Photo Man Sells Unwanted Photos

Photo Man_2I am not quite sure why people would buy unwanted photos taken by strangers, but apparently they do. Mark Kologi, aka The Photo Man,  buys tubs of photos and then sells them for what he refers to as artistic inspiration. He has sold millions of these photos, representing the lives of unknown, real people. It’s hard to believe that this is the fate of so many photos, and I hope my photos don’t wind up there. It is hard to know what will eventually happen to them, although most of my photos are in albums or photo books not tubs.

Hopefully, reading the story and watching the video

will inspire some people to organize and label their photos
