Digital printing now consists of over one trillion pages per year, which is approximately 2% of the 50 trillion pages produced by all printing technologies. This statistic, from Gilad Tzori’s presentation on the Nanographic Printing Process at the Non-Impact Printing Conference in Quebec, is staggering. It means that we are printing more than 7000 sheets of paper each year for every man, woman, and child on the planet. I think I’ll try to print a few less sheets of paper.
