Custom Albums Were Worth Waiting For

Today, Creative Memories launches the You Create It Custom Album. This is a milestone worth noting.

My wedding album was one of the early custom album cover samples.

I started work on the custom album cover project eleven years ago, in the year 2000. Most of the people who were involved with the project at that time are no longer with Creative Memories. We produced samples and ran a focus group. The response was very positive, but for any number of reasons, we were unable to launch the product.

Over the years, I worked on custom covers intermittently. When Creative Memories purchased a digital press in 2009, it needed to have the capability to produce custom covers.

Even this year, there were times when the launch was in doubt. Fortunately, we now have a good understanding of how to launch digital products, and we were able to use those skills to make the You Create It Custom Album available on the Creative Memories Digital Center.

The You Create It Custom Album leverages the knowledge we have developed producing StoryBooks. The cover uses the same durable laminate, and it is embossed to hide fingerprints and reduce glare. You can purchase this product with confidence, knowing that it is manufactured to Creative Memories high quality standards.  For more details see You Create It Custom Album Preserves Memories.

The You Create It Custom Album is the perfect combination of digital and tradionaalo scrapbooking. Look for more to come!

Thank you so much for perservering with this concept and for helping to bring it to reality. While I personally have moved to all digital I know these albums covers are going to be a success. I could not believe how beautiful they were when I saw them in person at Showcase. I will be ordering one right away just to have it to show customers. I know when they see it they will want them.

Mark, Peace & joy. I love seeing your family in all the ‘testing’ you do…it really shows how much care you put into your work…I know you would not want to have those memories fade away. *U* Kathleen

Love…love…love this. Since I prefer to do our family albums as (mostly) digital page prints in traditional covers – I am all over this. I’m getting ready to order my first one and can’t wait to see and touch.
